New Generation Of Migrant Workers Social Identity Problem Research

After entering the new century new generation migrant workers have replaced their parents gradually became the main force of our country into the city to work.Unlike the old migrant workers of the new generation of migrant workers for their own development and the living conditions of the more demanding,most of them are very hope to stay in the city.But because of various reasons,they are hard to blend in cities are reluctant to return to the rural,caused them to their own identity,urban identity,rural identity,for their own future ownership identity of social recognition,and a series of problems.This let the new generation of migrant workers not only their own development limited also bring social harmony in our country a great deal of uncertainty.In this study by the open area of the new generation migrant workers in hefei,for example,first from their basic life present situation,level of education,work,work and income status of migrant workers group characteristics were investigated by the four dimensions,then from their own identity,urban identity,local identity,the future belonging four dimensions to the situation of social identity of migrant workers to investigate,and then extracted 10 rural migrant workers in the survey as a typical case,made a structured interview to them.In the investigation and interview,the author found that:1.Although the basic status of new generation migrant workers have mostly and city people,the low level of education is generally urban people's work and lack of professional skills,cause they work income is low and the intensity of labor is big.2.The new generation of migrant workers is generally about their identity has a tendency to obscure,they even after into urban registered permanent residence is not fully integrated into the city.3.The new generation of migrant workers in cities were often higher,whereas for less esteemed local,but the reality is difficult due to their city into the countryside.4.About their future belonging is very confused.Through the survey data,the interview results,and the new and old data contrast analysis of two generations of migrant workers the cause of the new generation peasant workers' social identity dilemma.In this paper the concrete will cause of the problem boils down to:reform of the old household registration system;Urban culture and rural culture collision;The management of the government,enterprises,social organizations;Migrant workers own quality these four aspects.On the influence factors of the four aspects has carried on the detailed analysis and discussion,then respectively from the government's policy system innovation,to improve the quality of migrant workers themselves,cultural psychological identity three angles targeted put forward the Suggestions and countermeasures to solve the problem of new generation migrant workers social identity.Hope this study can be rich in China's new generation migrant workers problem research of the theory of boundary at the same time also is able to eliminate the new generation peasant workers'social identity dilemma in China provide a certain amount of thinking and using for reference.
