Organic Marxism:Paradigm Structure And Theoretical Generalization

Organic Marxism is an emerging acad emic schools of foreign Marxism.The theory is based on the organic and ecological civilization and integrates with Marxism,process philosophy and traditional Chinese wisdom.Meanwhile,the theory should be treated as a kind of postmodern Marxism,focusing on criticizing capitalist.Its rise is deeply rooted in growing ecological crisis and it puts forward a series of practical strategies of constructing ecological civilization.To explore the theoretical benefits of Organic Marxism will give a guidance and reference significance for the development of Marxism,socialist theory with C hinese characteristics and socialist ecological civilization.This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter defines the organic concept of Marxism,laying the basis points of this thesis,then briefly discusses the significance of the topic,Organic Marxist research at home and abroad,the research methods as well as the creative place.C hapter two elucidate the theoretical background from the ecological crisis,economic growth and class curing,and introduces the organic sources of Marxist theory: Marxism,organic science,C hinese traditional philosophy and process philosophy.C hapter three focusing on analyzing Organic Marxist theory and its value proposition from three aspects: political,economic and educational systems.Its values will be summed up in three aspects: against the false justice,beyond the individualism for the common welfare and establish organic ecological civilization.The fourth chapter analyzes the specific steps to realize their theories.From a macro perspective,organic Marxism tries to achieve their social-change goals in three aspects: national interests,economic running and wealth distribution,and then focus to the field of micro perspective agriculture,industry and banking reform measures in details.The fifth chapter based on discussing the positive and negative aspects of the theory,pointing out that Organic Marxism has four enlightenments: changes in regarding GDP as a sole criterion of economic development,paying attention to the environmental rights of low-income groups,sticking to choose policies according to loca l conditions and absorbing nutritions from traditional culture.Besides this chapter criticizes the loss theory of Organic Marxism seriously.
