The Transition Of Rural Authority In "Post-rural Society"

The modernization of China is not only the urbanization in city,but also is the modernization of rural society.Social structure of rural has changed from the rustic society in China tradition to post-rural society.The single and closed social structure has been superseded.So the rural society shows diversify characteristics.The change of authority is inevitable.The dominated political authority has been replaced by the combination of political,economic and traditional authority.Post-rural society‘s characteristics is more open.Individual values and action logic are changed.The legitimate foundation of village authority has been broken,so the traditional authority has no effect on individual action and village order.The new way of control appears in village.This paper is not only supplement the authority theory,but also has a great theoretical significance in village order.In C village that the central province in China,I conduct my investigation by using literature research method,interview method and observation method.The C village is a familial rural area,so the hall of clan is very important to the villager and the hall was preserved all the time.It was reconstructed in 1994 and 2005.This paper will reveal the change of rural authority's control means by comparing the process of building the hall in different period.In this paper,the concrete content is divided into the following four parts: Part I introduction,mainly describes the topic of this paper.IT includes the origin,purpose and meaning of this research and the methods be used.The second part,I report the background of C village and overview the authority change.The third part is the focus of the paper,mainly analyzing the reason that the authority of village is changed in a long time.The fourth part is discussing the changedauthority had an effect on the rural society.The change of the authority in C village is an epitome in Chinese which reflects the difference structure of rural society and individual life.In order to putting forward effectively solving the problems of existed in the rural governance and achieving the goal of new rural construction,we must study the change of the rural society deeply.
