A Study On The Current Situation Of Rural Left-Behind Women And Their Willings To Move Out In Anhui Province

The high-speed development of social economy brought the industrialization and urbanization with the policy of reform and opening up.With accelerating process of industrialization,urbanization has also in a rapid development with high demand for labor.With the science and technology widely used in agricultural production,a large number of rural labor liberate from the agricultural production and massively transfer to city.Rural women lag behind men in the process of non-agricultural transfer due to internal and external influences.In this case,the special group of rural left-behind women exist.As a big agriculture province,Anhui province has a large population and the number of exporting rural labor force come out in front in the country.Therefore,the phenomenon of Anhui rural left-behind women is more obvious in the same social system background.Currently,the study of Anhui rural left-behind women pay more attention to its remaining living conditions rather than the research on the will whether they are willing to move out let alone effective countermeasures and solutions of problems among the process.Therefore,increasing attention to study of the willing of emigration of Anhui rural left-behind women and carrying on related systems research are positive and far-reaching significance to solve the problem of non-agricultural transfer in urbanization progress.Based on the Push and Pull theory?Gender theory?Economic benefit maximization theory,combining with questioners and the research of 8 counties in both south and north of Anhui province.Nowadays,there is 500 million left-behind women in total in Anhui,the three elements are analyzed below:Social system and culture,women themselves and decision made by their families.In this essay,the statistics and analysis results shows the economic life status,political participation situation,rights ownership status in their families and marital status of left behind women's.The analysis come up with the Single factor analysis and Logistic Multiple regression model,the willing of going out to left-behind women are influenced by 11 variables that can be summarized in 3 elements which are Individual characteristics,family characteristics and the external environment.It comes with reaserch,the will of going outside to women in Anhui Province is weak,still,there is a potential for some of them may go out in the near future.And a series of issues exist,they have negative impact on both themselves and the urbanization process and the development of economic and cultural in rural areas.The corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are mentioned in this essay.Firstly,to increase human capital accumulation in rural areas and to strengthen the vocational education,improving the living standards;Secondly,to improve the political participation of left-behind women,so that it can ensure their family and their own rights and interests.Thirdly,to pay additional attention to the cultural life to left-behind women,and to create a goodcultural atmosphere.At last,to improve the external environment and the institutional environment,taking full use of the policy to guarantee the living standard of left-behind women.
