The Research Of The Left-behind Women's Living Conditions And Issues In Rural Area In Jingxi Province

In recent years, the rural left-behind women group expanding fast, they formed to be a special group gradually, and their living condition directly affects the implementation of our "Chinese dream" and the construction of new socialist countryside. China since the beginning of the 80 year in twentieth Century, a large number of rural married men leave their homeland into the city for working, followed by a large number of rural left-behind women. Jiangxi is a major agricultural province who have a large number of rural population. With the rapid economic development of the surrounding provinces and cities, a large number of rural men labor flow to neighboring economically developed regions, then, appears a large number of rural left-behind women. It forcing them to take on the task of building homes, and the construction of a new countryside on their own. This paper, aimed at a more comprehensive understanding of Jiangxi rural left-behind women's life in the family economic income, housing, production life, marriage, spirit,children's education, political participation and so on various issues through the investigation of the present situation of the rural left-behind women in Zixi County, Fuzhou City, Jiangxi Province. And it's survey data based on their basic situation and living conditions. This paper analysis the reasons for the formation of their living situation for the rural left-behind women according to the existed problems. For the reasons, this paper make a suggestion to strengthen the education and training for rural women and develop cooperative economic organizations to promoting left-behind women transfer to non-agricultural economic sectors. What's more, increasing the intensity of local investment in rural areas, supporting the local entrepreneurship, strengthening the awareness of left-behind women's political participation, establishing and perfecting the social security system of rural poverty, enriching the rural cultural life and other measures to improve the situation of rural left-behind women and to improve rural living standards. Though this, we can fulfill our rural "China dream" as soon as possible.
