The Challenges And Prospect Of China's Legal Service Sector Under The "Belt And Road Initiative"

"One Belt One Road" Strategy provides more market for Chinese enterprises,during which the infrastructure construction,as the area of priority and importance,it fully implements the Strategy.However,most foreign infrastructure projects ended up with failure.Chinese government and Chinese enterprises gradually realized that the ignorance of law in the process of foreign infrastructure construction projects brings unnecessary loss of money,time and the precious opportunities of investment.Most countries along the "One Belt One Road" are developing countries in transitional period.The difference of their politics,economy,culture and legal system bring diversified legal risks to the construction of foreign infrastructure projects.Chinese enterprises need more legal service of high quality to deal with such legal crises.In order to successfully develop a foreign infrastructure project,the cooperation between both civil and foreign lawyers,and the legal suggestions provided on the basis of foreign law,international law and related infrastructure knowledge are required to control the potential legal risks and reduce the bad influence.China's law firms shall be bigger in scale,more professionalized and more internationalized to provide better legal service.Chinese lawyers shall have strong abilities in English and related laws using,and be able to provide detailed and complete due diligence to help Chinese enterprises avoid legal risks and provide legal service by using different dispute settlement systems.Moreover,with respect to judicial guarantee,China shall promote cyber dispute settlement system.And at the same time,a data base for the ascertainment of foreign law and the construction of infrastructures' dispute resolution system shall be established for better and stronger legal guarantee to foreign infrastructure investment project.
