Research On The Functions Of The Young Pioneers Ceremony In Primary School

Studies of ceremony has been a long time,the ceremony has rich meanings and it has be given different meanings in different conditions and different historical periods.With the opening and the progress of education concept,ceremony,as a new means of education began to enter into the public eye and more and more people pay attention to it.Compared with the general school activities,Children organization ceremony activity has its own characteristics,such as group identity,psychological suggestion,practical experience,content obvious and so on.This is mainly decided by the particularity of children organization.Because of the broadly conception of children's organization,so I choose the most commonest children's organization of primary school--young pioneers as the study group.My research is mainly along the idea of "real situation of young pioneers ceremony--how to carry out--what function has it achieves ",mainly analysising of the designed to present the status quo of the Young Pioneers ceremony activities,knowing and understanding the Young Pioneers ceremony embodied the education function,controlling the new trend of ritual activities function it could be.Not only is a supplement to the theory of elementary school ceremony education,is also attention to children's life growth.Fully recognize and understand the organization of the ritual activities and functions,grasping the new trend of ritual activities which it could be.It provides supplement of the theory of education for elementary school ceremony,and has very important significance for promoting the organization and construction of school culture and the growth of children.This research mainly adopts the literature method,interview method and questionnaire method.The research selected H primary school in Guilin City of Guangxi and S primary school in Wuhu City of Anhui as two example school.The early stage of the research literature by looking at rituals,defining the connotation of the ceremony,analyzing the relationship between ritual and society on the basic of relevant theories and knowledge of anthropology,political science,sociology,pedagogy.I officially entered the entered the scene in May 2015,mainly for observing activities which organized by Young Pioneers,The interview objects are the counselors and some other students of the two schools.The questionnaire distributed mainly in Grade four,five,and six.Material collected mainly took the form of observation records and interviews.Ritual activities organized by the children's organization is not fixed,and it will enrich itself with the development of the history and the time.The implementation of the young pioneers ceremony has a set of strict procedures,symbolizing a kind of sacredness,each link has a certain meaning of education.The function of the young pioneers ceremony embodied in two aspects:social functions and individual functions.The Young Pioneers ceremony spreads the culture of the organization and educates the members the political knowledge,(promoting the political socialization of children),maintaining stability of the group and the society,these are the social function.And for individual,it means the thought baptism for the children,children feel happy in the ceremony and it waking up the children's heart with others and with their own emotions,encouraging them for keep learning and improving themselves.At the same time,the ceremony can prove their ability to transform themselves to adapt to the new role.Although Young Pioneers ceremony has all these functions,but it still has some problems in the process,such as activity accumulation,target is not clear,management reasons,the adult guide's professional accomplishment is not enough and so on.These problems may be caused by the school,adults,children,social and others.How to solve these questions effectively is very necessary.We should pay the functions of the young pioneers ceremony as much as possible to embody the value of the young pioneers ceremony.
