Rural left-behind children are the derivatives of China "Three Rural Issues", is a great social groups generated from outward movement of rural labor. The community and the academic community has aroused widespread concern on this group's interests. Rural left-behind children are now in an crucial stage in their socialized process, being influenced by their going-out parents and other factors, their socialization can't go on normally, their psychological or physiological growth faces series of problems. How to solve this problem is relative to the development of the rural education, the building of "new countryside" and the structuring of the well-off society . so, this study analysis the socialization problem of rural left-behind children, which has great and urgent realistic meanings.Based on the relative literatures, the theory research indicated as follows: The socialization of left-behind children in countryside consist of seven parts, such as living skills, communication, study, their goals in life, the values , self-consciousness and bad behaviors. Family, school, peer group, mass media, the rural culture and left-behind child itself have different influences on the socialization of left-behind children .Left-behind children in rural China had mainly serious problem in three aspects of study, life and psychology. The model of the socialization based on the ecology of human development of them was advanced.The paper use questionnaire investigation analyzed the socialization of the left-behind children in Pingjiang, Yueyang, in Human province. On the basis of empirical study, there are some conclusions: Compared to non-left-behind children, the left-behind children had no significant difference on based life skill, learning, goal in life, the view of labor, the use of pin money, attitudes about family, self-evaluation and bad behaviors. But there were some differences on some parts of communication, the view of consumption, expected of family scale and models and the feelings. There were also some differences between left-behind boys and girls. Moreover, father, a teacher in charge of a class, mother, TV programs and books were the top five factors that influenced the socialization of the left behind children. And the influence of those four micro-social factors such as family, school, friends and media was decreasing one by one. The regression analysis showed only the friends and media had significant effects on the socialization of the left-behind children.This research believed that the question of left-behind children in socialization is due to many kinds of factors together. Only constructs the social trinity safeguard system of family, school and society, we can alleviate and even completely solve the difficult problem of left-behind children.
