The Functions Of Overseas Chinese Society In Public Diplomacy In Overseas Chinese Affairs

Chinese government proposed overseas Chinese public diplomacy in 2011,which has attracted extensive attention.Chinese government emphasizes that overseas Chinese plays an important role in public diplomacy when facing the complicated external environment.At present,the achievements of overseas Chinese public diplomacy mainly rely on overseas community power.Long time,in the corner of the overseas Chines community play important role in promoting cooperation between China and foreign countries.Therefore,Chinese government should pay attention to improtant power of overseas Chines community in overseas Chinese public diplomacy,which will play an important effect to promote practice in overseas Chinese public diplomacy.On the basis of the study between overseas Chines community and overseas Chinese public diplomacy,this paper discussed that overseas Chines community play am important roles in public diplomacy.First of all,at the macro level,this paper discussed the function and mechanism of the community in overseas Chinese public diplomacy.Secondly,at the micro level,this paper analysised the contribution and defect when the Committee of 100 promote the practice in overseas Chinese public diplomacy.Finally,it reflects the problems that the government how to take measures to promote the community play am important role in the practice.The practice of overseas Chinese public diplomacy undertakes important responsibility when it explains “Chines story” and builds image of Chinese.It is difficult for Chinese government to fulfill the task,which will urge government value community power.Therefore,overseas community will play am important role in the practice.It is not only Chinese government should improve the overseas Chinese public diplomacy,but also improve groundwork.
