Analysis On The Characteristics Of Community Resilience And Cause Of Formation In Shenyang Tiexi District

The notion of community resilience is used to explain the capacity to respond to disturbance,stress and adverse situation stemmed from social,political and environmental change.From the perspective of community resilience combined with research on transformation in Shenyang Tiexi district,new case and method in community resilience research can be provided,in addition,the scientific reference can be offered to other old industrial areas.Based on statistical analysis and geographical detector from primary data(obtained from questionnaire survey),this article analyzes the differential community resilience and influential factors as well as forming reasons in old industrial area of Shenyang Tiexi district.The results indicate that:(1)Differential characteristics of community resilience are demonstrated between old unit residential community and new commercial-house community.More specifically,the respective score of social resilience,institutional resilience and community capital in commercial-house community are higher than those in unit residential community.While the score of economic resilience and physical resilience in commercial-house community is lower than unit residential community’s.Furthermore,different resident and residential attribute have different correlation in each dimensional community resilience(social resilience,economic resilience,institutional resilience,physical resilience,community capital).(2)According to the result of geographical detector,physical resilience and institutional resilience,rather than social resilience and economic resilience,exert such significant effect on community resilience.(3)The comprehensive forming reason of community resilience,contained institutional transformation,local government,economic development,community service,social and individual factors,is put forward in Shenyang Tiexi district.Moreover,spatial differentiation and indicator distinction can be explained from the aspect of spatial effect and residents’ perceptual evaluation.(4)The relevant advice,to enhance community resilience in Shenyang Tiexi district,should be taken from the viewpoint of social resilience,economic resilience,institutional resilience and physical resilience.The community’s administrative department and residents’ self-governance organization should perform favorable role such as routine management and career training;the government should make efforts to complete community planning,surrounding infrastructure and so on;furthermore,residents are needed to participate in community activities positively,which can strengthen the residents’ place attachment.
