In recent years, the rapid development of information technology has brought great changes in the field of pension. With the increase of population aging and the change of social-economic structure, pension model has changed from the traditional family support and organization support to community support. The emergence of intelligent devices and service systems has brought a lot of convenience and happiness to the elderly.Starting from the application requirements and the key technologies of intelligent community support for the elderly, this thesis designed and implemented an intelligent community endowment service system, in order to combine pension services, medical services and institutional services that society offers and provide convenient internet services for the elderly. In the implementation, this intelligent community endowment service system follows the development model of service-oriented architecture(SOA). Besides, it uses Erlang/OTP framework to develop the background server and uses Django framework to develop the access layer, which formats the three-tier architecture called “HCI layer- access layer – service layer”. The service system provides kinds of services like basic information management, health care management and life entertainment management to the elderly, and also provides management services for medical staff and institution staff. In order to simplify system maintenance, this service system designed and implemented the system log management, the data recovery mechanism when cache server restarts and the synchronization mechanism between cache server and MySQL database. In addition, some Web security protection measures are used to make sure of system information security. The system background server makes the dynamic process management strategy and the process pool strategy collaborate, which not only makes system response faster but also takes up system resources as less as possible. Furthermore, the background server has the advantages of distribution, hot update and scalability.In the different stages of system development, white-box testing, black-box testing and performance testing are used respectively for system testing and experiments, to insure that the service system can work properly. The result of performance testing shows that this intelligent community endowment service system can completely meet the needs of community endowment users.
