Research On Precise Old-age Care Services And Institutional Arrangement

Aging population has become a common problem confronted by human beings all over the world.Aged tendency,high disability rate,rapid aging speed and large elderly population are prominent characteristics of aging population in China.Moreover,as the old-age care service requirements of the elderly become diversified and the family's function of aging care is weakened,the daily care,rehabilitation nursing and spiritual care for the elderly as well as other problems become more and more prominent.In terms of the supply of old-age care services,a diversified supply pattern composed of family,government,enterprises and volunteer organizations gradually come into being.However,the cooperation mechanism and institutional arrangement between each subject has not yet been straightened out,leading to a consequence that the phenomena of low service efficiency and waste of service resources take place from time to time.Therefore,it is very necessary to make precise institutional arrangement of old-age care service,so as to get hold of the elderly's common requirements and individual requirements of old-age care services.From the micro aspect,this thesis explores the individual demands on old-age care services of the elderly at different ages,in different regions,engaged in different occupations and possessing different purchasing powers;from the macro aspect,the common demands on old-age care services of the elderly are researched.Through the analysis and research on the physiology,mentality,social interaction and economic features of the elderly,it is concluded that due to the differences in individual constraint conditions—internal physiological conditions(psychological status and mental state)and external living conditions(economic position,cared situation and living environment)—of the elderly,individual old-age care service demands will generate.Through the investigation of old-age care service demands in Xi'an City,it is discovered that service contents are unsound in the elderly's demands of common old-age care services covering daily care,medical service,psychological comfort,accident treatment and terminal care.In this context,this thesis analyzes the current situations of supply subjects and supply contents of diversified old-age care service resources in Xi'an.Then through integrating economic resources,organization resources,service resources,cultural resources and technical resources,the relationship between supply subjects of old-age care services is straightened out.Lastly,from the aspects of operation mechanism of institutional supply,process design of management system and quality control,institutional arrangement of precise old-age care service is designed.
