With the further development of the aging population in my country, the traditional family pension model is difficult to cope with the growing problem of the elderly population.More and more elderly people choose institutional pension models and accept nursing services provided by pension institutions. Therefore, the level of service provision of pension institutions directly affects the quality of life of the elderly in the institution and their housing experience. In recent years, the state has increased the standardized management of the old-age service industry and vigorously promoted the professionalization of old-age services.Among them, the professional skills of old-age services have been repeatedly emphasized by local functional departments, and some places even directly equate the professionalization of old-age services with the skills for old-age care services-Continuously strengthen the professional skills of old-age care services in daily supervision such as evaluation or annual assessment.Objectively speaking, improving the service skill level and evaluating the implementation of these skills with uniform and standardized standards will help to improve the low skill level and poor service quality of the old-age care services. At the same time, the indexed assessment and evaluation based on skill services also played an effective incentive role in improving the quality of pension services. In this sense, the satisfaction of elderly people in elderly care institutions with elderly care services should also be greatly improved. However,in the author's field survey, the results obtained are not completely consistent with the above judgment. In some old-age care institutions, the satisfaction of the elderly caregivers with the service provision of the institutions has not been improved correspondingly with the improvement of the service skills. This study systematically investigated how nursing care service skills were promoted by a nursing home in Shanghai for several months, and explored how this"emphasis" on service skill formation formed the status quo of imbalance between service supply and demand within a nursing home supply preferences. This study found that, although pension institutions have repeatedly strengthened the technical service requirements for front-line nursing staff, the satisfaction of residential elderly with the provision of institutional services has not increased correspondingly with the improvement of service skills. This article believes that, under the background of"skilled" nursing services being emphasized repeatedly, the service supply of pension institutions has been guided to a certain extent by specific management methods, which has led to a certain amount of service provision for pension institutions, especially first-line nurses orientation.Local government and third-party assessment agencies' assessment and appraisal of elder care service skills have a certain guiding effect on the management methods of elder care institutions and the service behavior of nursing staff, which has led the elder care institutions and nursing staff to fully comply with the index. The assessment requires the provision of emphasized skills services, and those non-quantitative services based on the personal characteristics of the caregivers(such as the caregiver's optimistic personality, hearty personality, humorous style, affinity, caring words, etc.)But it was suppressed. As a result, there is an imbalance between the supply and demand of elderly care services, which in turn affects the elderly's living experience. Therefore, this article believes that the improvement of old-age care services should strengthen the skills of services, and pay attention to the application of the meaning of non-skilled services in old-age services to achieve comprehensive and integrated optimization of old-age services.
