A Study On The Historical Evolution Of Chinese Modern Child Protection Mechanism

Protect children,let the children grow up healthy,is wish of every parent in the current society,but also the consensus of the whole society.The protection of children is the development of human society to a certain extent will arise naturally,but in different historical periods,have different ideas,different performance and different focus.In ancient China,under the influence of traditional Confucianism,the protection of children is appeared.With the development of modern society and the progress of civilization,China's child protection work has the new features,it is not only affected by the historical tradition of our country,but also absorbed and developed the foreign advanced concept of child protection.Therefore,analyze the historical evolution of child protection mechanism not only helps us to understand the practice of modernized child protection system,but also helps to enrich our contemporary child protection innovation theory,it is of great significance to the improvement of child protection mechanism in our country at present.This paper mainly studies the historical evolution of the child protection mechanism in Modern China,which involves from the Opium War in 1840 to the establishment of People's Republic of China in 1949,covering the entire history of Modern China.Under the guidance of Marx dialectical materialism and historical materialism,using the literature method,survey research method and historical research method,this paper explores the development and evolution of the child protection mechanism in Modern China,it have a systematic description and in-depth analysis,on this basis,this paper discusses the historical experience and lessons of the child protection mechanism in Modern China,and makes a prospect to establish of a professional and modern child protection system.On the basis of literature review,this paper based on the main line and the different characteristics in different historical period,the modern history of “1840-1949 year” is divided into three stages:“1840-1911”,“1912-1928”,“1928-1949”,to study the three stages of the child protection mechanism,main analysis of the four aspects,namely,the background of the times,the characteristics of the child protection mechanism,the limitations and deficiencies,rating and summary.Finally,in the conclusion,this papersummarizes the experience and lessons of the child protection mechanism in Modern China,which provides a historical reference and useful enlightenment for the future development of children's protection.
