Social Service Management Of Religious Social Organizations

Religious public welfare has become an important part of social services,and an increasing number of religious groups participate in social services.A lot of social organizations of religious background derive with the development of society,which have some advantages that other social organizations don't have and can be more devoted because of the power of faith in participating in social services.The participation of religious social organizations in the social services help the government solve many problems that are difficult to consider and promote the development of social services.In China,religious social organizations are still in the developmental stage in the aspect of developing public welfare.There are still many problems and deficiencies in the religious social organizations themselves or in the process of participating in social services,which result in insufficient effective participations in social services and being impeded in the process of promoting social services.In China,there still exists tension between religion and government as well as between religion and social,especially the Western Church.Therefore,the social organizations of religious background become sensitive during the process of providing social services,which are not only intervened by the government,but also not accepted by the public.It has become a controversial topic that how the government regulate and manage the participation of religious social organizations in social services.The present paper summarized the required conditions for the development of religious social organizations and discussed a successful case by reading literature and field research.Afterwards,the paper investigated and analyzed the development of religious social organizations,its form of participating in social services,the construction of organizational structure,and relations with external environment,etc.Then,the successful experience was summed up,providing some suggestions for the better development of religious social organizations.Meanwhile,the author surveyed the supervision and guidance of the national and local governments in the development of the organization,and made some recommendations for the State and government,such as,what kind of role should be oriented,how to exercise the authority and how to develop laws and policies.
