A Study On The Participation Of Christian Non-governmental Organizations In Social Welfare

Non-governmental organizations have played a positive role in providing social and public services and participating in social welfare since the 1980 s,which is an important supplement to social welfare.Religious non-governmental organizations(RNGO: religious non-governmental organization)is one of the important types of participation.China's religious non-governmental organizations have developed rapidly since the 1990 s and have made great contributions to cultivating the social spirit of our country,participating in disaster relief and promoting social development in community development.This study highlights the social welfare behavior of religious non-governmental organizations,which is more rational,technical and instrumental than religious groups and religious organizations.To the case of the Amity Foundation for the discussion of how such non-governmental organizations through the public welfare projects to reconcile the country,the market,social interaction process,and carry forward the spirit of religion,foster civic spirit.Through the observation and research of the love foundation,the characteristics and operation of the Christian background non-governmental organizations are explored,aiming at guiding and drawing lessons from the participation of other religious non-governmental organizations in the development of China's social welfare undertakings and for the social welfare policy Researchers,decision-making departments and practitioners to provide valuable cases.The Amity Foundation is sponsored by Christian patriots in Nanjing and is currently one of the most influential Christian non-governmental organizations in the Greater China region and the world.Over the past 30 years,the number of beneficiaries of more than 10 million,raising the amount of over 2.5 billion,but also created a "e ten thousand action" brand social welfare projects,and long-term focus on the comprehensive development of rural areas in the " Service " as the advanced concept;actively participate in disaster relief at home and abroad.The development of social welfare and advocacy advanced public welfare concept.Based on the depth participatory observation of the author's internship process,the author understands the organizational structure,characteristics and participation of the social welfareundertakings,the way of resource mobilization,and tries to reveal the Christian non-governmental organizations through the study of Amity.Find out the characteristics of other religious non-governmental organizations to enlighten and deepen the current study of the Chinese mainland social welfare undertakings.
