The Willingness And Dilemma Of The Amphibious Migrant Workers’ Citizenization Under The Background Of The New Urbanization

Traditional urbanization have greatly promoted the economic development of the city under the binary structure of our country, but the structural imbalance also caused a series of problems including migrant workers’ amphibious dilemma. New urbanization put forward the people-oriented and fair share as its basic principle, It is undoubtedly the brake and transition adjustment in time to the structural imbalance of the traditional urbanization, and citizenization of migrant workers is an important part of the new urbanization. Therefore the study of the migrant workers’citizenization under the background of new urbanization has prominent practical significance. Just because of’ this, the problem of migrant workers’ citizenization have been recognized in academic circles. Based on this situation, the paper switches perspective to migrant workers’ subjective opinions, consider what the amphibious characteristics as migrant workers’ background, to explore the subjective wishes of the migrant workers and its practical difficulties.The paper is based on the existing research, using the method of field research,studying citizenization of the amphibious migrant workers from Chengkou County of Chongqing City through in-depth interviews and author’s field observation and understand. The paper’s logical thinking lies in regarding amphibious as the objective background of migrant workers, and the essay’s emphasis is placed on the subjective dilemma of the amphibious migrant workers in the process of citizenization. The paper anatomy of amphibious migrant workers’ dilemma caused by urban-rural structure through qualitative analysis combine specific interview cases, and put forward the future path suggestion of the migrant workers’ citizenization under the guidance of the unitary view of urban and rural areas.Through the research, we found that the advance of new urbanization have created feasibility conditions to the migrant workers’ citizenization, so, most of the amphibious migrant workers’ subjective views of citizenization are strongly, urban has its great attraction to them. However, amphibious migrant workers are still influenced by some objective factors from urban-rural dualistic structure, the process of their citizenization is subject to multiple obstacles from the institution, the concept and their own ability. Therefore, the disposal dilemma is consist on the subjective identification, living condition, rights protection, social integration, and land disposal.So, against this background , the key to push on the citizenization of amphibious migrant workers is break the urban-rural system structure based on household system under the guidance of the Unitary view of urban and rural areas, advance rural infrastructure construction and strengthen the social guidance to make the society realize that migrant workers are also the host of the city, while, efforts to upgrade amphibious farmers workers’ human capital and social capital, to eventually achieved the common development of urban and rural areas to created more select space for amphibious migrant workers.
