Intermedia Agenda Setting Influence Between Sina Blog And Newspapers In Crisis Event

The Internet is playing a greater role of information communication and government watchdog in recent years.The Internet has brought great changes to mass communication theory,thus the intermedia agenda setting influence in traditional media and internet media has attracted more attention.In China,metropolis newspaper is changing the opinion field of mainstream media controlled by party newspapers.Meanwhile,metropolis newspapers differ from party newspapers when they interact with Internet media.In China,paroxysmal crisis events happen more frequently in recent years.Both traditional media and Sina blog are involved in crisis communication.Intermedia agenda setting influence is exerting a greater influence in traditional media and Sina blog in crisis event,when there is a greater competition between Internet public opinion field and traditional media opinion filed.Thus this paper will take both content analysis and cross-lagged analysis to study the status quo of intemedia agenda setting influence in China's mainstream newspapers and Sina Blog in crisis event,so as to investigate how to make use of traditional media opinion field and internet public opinion field.The results show intermedia agenda setting influence in metropolis newspaper and Sina blog at issue level but not at attribute level.It also shows no intermedia agenda setting influence in party newspaper and Sina blog.
