The Analysis Of The Rural Empty Elderly's Quality Of Life Adn The Influencing Factors

At the present stage, the family structure of our country is gradually tending towards miniaturization and core, the number of empty nest elderly also increases year by year. As the Ninth National New District, in recent years, the development momentum of Huangdao has been maintained at the forefront of the District of Qingdao, the rapid economic development not only improves the living standards of the residents but also brings more opportunities for employment. Different from the remote area residents who need to find a job far away from their hometown, the local young workers have the advantage to get a job nearby their city,so they can often go home. Even so, according to the author's field investigation, the district of Huangdao also has a considerable portion of the elderly, and there is also a part of the empty nest elderly life just passable. On one hand, the economic condition of the nest elderly is worse, on the other hand, the external support that they get is relatively scarce.This paper takes the empty nest elderly lives in Huangdao district as example, in order to get the real data, the author using the WHO quality of life measurement scale through the the method of questionnaire survey as well as the field interviews to measure their quality of life.The results of data analysis showed that the overall quality of life of rural empty nest elderly in the Huangdao district is in the middle leve, specifically, in the two dimensions of social relations and physical, they scored well, the next is the environmental dimension, and the lowest score is the psychological field. From a personal point of view,marital status, wether participating in the old-age insurance and so on are the influencing factors.While form the external support situation, the family relationship, the living conditions of their kids as well as t whether the daily difficulties can be resolved in time will also have an important impact on their quality of life. According to the above research results, to improve the quality of life of the elderly empty nest elderly first to enhance the sense of urgency thus widely involved in physical exercise.Secondly, encourage the elderly who did not participated in the insurance to actively make a supplementary payment, thus to provide an economic guarantee for their old age. In addition, to strengthen the children's sense of caring for the elderly, encourage their children to visit their parents frequently while conditions permit. Finally, our government should play its due role, gradually increasing the financial support, and improve the construction of rural infrastructure.
