The Preliminary Exploration About The Global Justice Theory Of Thomas Pogge

Under the era of globalization,the problem caused by global poverty and inequality appeared continuously,and global system and order could not play a part in the process of dealing with some global disputes,which made an increasing rising for the countries appeal for global justice.With the increasingly close relationship between countries in the aspects of economic development,political communication and cultural integration,the problem of global justice has became a global problem which surpassed the boundary of countries and nations.However,we have to face the current situation of global poverty and inequality meanwhile make economic wealth,and try to find a solution to solve currently extreme poverty and inequality so as to maintain the continuous,efficient and stable development all over the global society.Just global system is the basic guarantee to realize global justice.However,if our system always indulge and shelter some unjust international behavior,how can we talk about justice.“Negative Responsibility” proposed by Pogge made us to think about the gap between the rich and the poor form the new point of morality,and established the negative duties under the framework of institutional constraint,and mobilized the developed countries' enthusiasm to solve extreme poverty.Current global system are manipulated by the developed countries,and the developing and poor countries have no right to speak and make decisions.Under the current global system,all kinds of unfair displayed during the process of dealing with international problems and disputes made the developing countries have a strong appeal to reform global system and orders.This paper based on the Global Justice Theory of Thomas Pogge conducted preliminary exploration to his theoretical ideas and contents,and took the point of institutional analysis,and described the appearance of appalled situation of global poverty and justice at first,and then explored theforming backgrounds and ideological origins of Pogge's global justice theory,and pointed out the reasons why Pogge proposed this theory.Secondly,this paper discussed the phenomena of different problem and unfair under current global system,and elaborated his ideas and creative disputes on the causes of those problems;and then it stated the core position and the idea of system reform,and compared Pogge's global justice and some modern global justice,which is the innovative part of this paper.At last,this paper discussed the value,limitation and practical significance of Pogge's global justice theory,and finished its goal of combining theory and practice.
