In 1946 on the eve of the outbreak of the War of Liberation,in order to obtain the greatest support of peasants,the CPC Central Committee issued the "May 4th instructions ",the "May 4th instructions " required the liberated areas to comply with the situation,and actively promote the land reform to address the land which were the peasants most concerned about.The Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region,as the seat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China,was directly led by the CPC Central Committee and carried out land reform in depth.Border region's land reform has undergone four stages: the consolidation of rent reduction and interest reduction,the expansion of the rent inquiry and tenant keeping-Land acquisition-Completely equal distribution of land-the split up transfers and adjustment.Each stage that profoundly adjusted the relationship between landlords and peasants.Border region peasants have gained a lot of land through land reform,they supported more and more for the leaders of the border governments,the CPC Central Committee,and more active action to participate in the liberation war,the peasants became an important force in the liberation war.This paper mainly combs the border region's land reform,analyses peasants' mobilization and education in the border region's land reform,and makes a systematic discussion on the basis of educational foundation,contents,forms,characteristics and evaluations.The first of all,by summarizing the land revolution and the literacy education movement before the land reform,concludes the experience of the land revolution and the literacy education movement provide the foundation,direction and the channel for the peasant education in the land reform.Secondly,through the combing of the basic situation of the four stages in the land reform,analyses the different peasant educational contents which in order to comply with the various land reform policies.Thirdly,explores the rich connotations of peasant education through the analysis of visit the poor and the suffering,division of class,political participation,organization of the struggle and complain assembly,media education.Fourthly,on the basis of deep understanding of the peasant educational contents and forms,condenses out the peasant educational characteristics:closely associated with the practice,forms are varied,material and ideological education combined.Finally,makes a comprehensive evaluation of the peasant education from positive significances,limitations,revelations:positive significances lie in that the peasant education in the land reform has promoted border region's land reform carried out smoothly,inspired political awareness of the border region peasants,provided experience for the land reform and peasant education after the founding of the PRC,provided thought inspiration of current relationship between land and peasants under modern background;limitations are mainly in the the wrong struggle of the media education and the lack of education in middle peasants;the reality of the revelations are reflected in the emphasis on ideological education work,pay attention to the working principle of seeking truth from facts.
