Link-16 data Link(TADIL-J)is the U.S.and NATO countries such as the army,navy and air force tactical data link,it is the most widely used data link now,and it will be the primary data link in wartime.Joint tactical information distribution system(JTIDS)is the communication terminal as Link-16,it has three primary functions such as communication,relative navigation and identification friendship.The Link-16 data link being used by the U.S.army since the 1990 s,has become a hot research and draw lessons from the world military power countries.This paper takes up a research of the JTIDS system model as the beginning,bring forth new ideas as the following:First,we have replace the CCSK ray(M-ray)as a quasi-orthogonal sequence and have done Monte Carlo simulation experiments.The simulation results show us that the quasi-orthogonal sequence over the AWGN channel having a 0.2 dB enhancement if the probality of error rate is 10-5;Second,facing complex electromagnetic environment for the future battlefield,we have a research of the flat slow fading channel model,we have derived the formula of transmission error rate of JTIDS waveform over Nakagami fading channel model,and have a simulation by the computer;Third,if the channel has barrage noise interference(BNI),and the signals of the JTIDS over a flat slow fading channel,we have derived the formula of transmission error rate of JTIDS waveform,have a simulation by the computer too;Fourth,based on high performance digital signal processing platform,we have a design of intermediate frequency digital JTIDS signal source,including the key fuction modules design,the software design,and have completed the system debugging and testing.
