| The world is entering a new age of cyber-society.Along with the construction and rapid development of the Internet,it is influencing various fields of people's life and production to a greater extent.It is obvious that as Internet being an efficient means of communication connecting different parts of the world,we can easily grasp all kinds of information from the network.However,this in return implies that we're exposed to all the negative factors existing within.Military academies are the places where cadets receive education and trainings,thus possesses the pervasive property of barracks for being closed.Military cadets are mostly at the age of an appetite for knowledge,and being kept in a relatively closed environment enhances their curiosity towards the outside world.Lack of contact to the exterior information leads to their incompetence of screening.Now under the influence of the conflict between the closure of the camps and the openness of information,military academies have committed graduate changes to a semi-closed environment.At the times when the overflow of complex information on the Internet has led public to confusion and put the whole society under threat,administration and rejection of the online rumors has been a heated topic then.In this smokeless battlefield of the Internet,military cadets have to be faced with the challenges to identify and reject the online rumors.This paper starts with the quick review of the latest progress of the researches on handling online rumors in both home and abroad.Then by summarizing the achievements and taking into consideration the current conditions of our country,we form up our own basic ideas on the control of Internet canards,such as strenthening the power of government legislation and tightly controlling according to law,expanding the industrial sections under control and regularizing online business operations,enhancing Internet monitoring and bettering responding system,promoting education and advocating self-discipline.Besides,we also propose suggestions like intensifying the openness of information and credibility of the government,establishing the online “green” residence and environment,reinforcing the studies on Internet technology with independent knowledge property rights,accelerating the construction of socialist spiritual civilization and carrying forward traditional Chinese cultures.The influence on the military cadets and corresponding measures are the key points of this paper.We look into the origin and characteristics of the online rumors with the properties of the Internet taken into consideration and the application of theories of communication,public administration and psychology.Based on the investigation of the integrated organization of student battalion,we analyzed the crucial change among the cadets from being simply connected to actively associated,and carefully studied the chracteristics of the spreading of online rumors in the semi-closed environment of the military academy.By analyzing several cases,we clarify the potential harm and threats of the online rumors on cadets and proposed countermeasures.Which mainly consist of three parts: for the academies,they should increase the investment on techniques to perfect the monitoring on the informational entrance of the Internet and complete the system for rumor refuting.And they should make better use of the online commentators to establish a team of elites for publicity and education.As for student battalion and administrators,they should focus on the management of the use of Internet terminals,maintain the monitor channels and organize educational programs on rumor denying.And from the perspective of the cadets,the functions of the student officers should be emphasized,which could guarantee the frequent ongoing of the management education and ideology education.The assistance from the upper-grade cadets should be made of good use.And the system for feedback should be carefully held in order to keep in close touch with every single cadet. |
