A Study On The Incentive Mechanism For College Student Volunteers In Chongqing

At present,China is in the period of social transformation,the lack of government public service supply and the fierce competition in the market causes the emergence of some unequal and unjust social phenomena in the society,while the promotion of voluntary spirit and the launch of volunteer action can effectively supplement the shortcomings of the government behavior and market economy,promote the exchange and integration between different groups,becoming an important symbol of social civilization progress today.The volunteer service in Chongqing started in the early nineties,and its project and fields continue to expand after 20 years of development,and achieve good social benefits.College student volunteers,as the main force of the volunteer team,play a vital role in promoting the civilization progress of various areas in Chongqing,satisfying the diverse needs of the public,maintaining interpersonal harmony and other aspects with their basic characteristics such as volunteerism,gratuitousness and serviceability,and gradually become an important part of the public service supply system.However,due to the late start of college student volunteer organization and voluntary service activities in Chongqing,the incentive mechanism for college student volunteers is not perfect,leading to unstable team of college student volunteers,low quality of voluntary service and other problems,which seriously affects the development of college student volunteer service.Therefore,it is extremely important for how to improve the incentive mechanism for college student volunteers,maintain the enthusiasm of college student volunteers in their participation in voluntary service,improve their service quality and level to promote the sustainable and healthy development of voluntary service in Chongqing.In this paper,through the analysis on the current research situation of volunteer incentive mechanism at home and abroad,relevant concepts and theories of college student volunteers and incentive mechanism for college student volunteers are sorted and summarized.At the same time,a questionnaire survey to the incentive mechanism for college student volunteers in Chongqing is conducted to find out the problems and causes of incentive mechanism for college student volunteers in Chongqing by combining the development status of the incentive mechanism for college student volunteers in Chongqing,and the optimization countermeasures are put forward from four aspects: concept,operation environment,system and management.This paper is divided into five parts.Chapter 1 mainly elaborates the origin of the research and its research background and significance,sorts out the domestic and foreign research status related to the volunteer incentive mechanism,and gives a brief description of the research content and methods of this paper.Chapter 2 introduces the concept definition and conceptual basis,where the concept of voluntary service,college volunteers,incentive and college student incentive mechanism are defined,and the theoretical basis of this study is introduced,namely,the human hypothesis theory and incentive theory.In Chapter 3,through the questionnaire survey to college student volunteers in three colleges and universities in Chongqing,the problems in the incentive mechanism for college student volunteers in Chongqing are analyzed by coming the development status of the incentive mechanism for college student volunteers in Chongqing.Chapter 5 is the result of this study,where,combined various influencing factors and specific to the actual situation of Chongqing suggestions on the optimization of the incentive mechanism for college student volunteers in Chongqing are proposed from the aspects of concept,operation environment,system and management according to the analysis above.Chapter 6 is the conclusion and prospect of this paper.The continuous improvement of the incentive mechanism for college student volunteers is of great significance to promote the construction of college student volunteers in Chongqing,and improve the voluntary service level and quality.Meanwhile,there are still many problems in the research idea and research depth,and further study and expansion is required.
