The Impact Of The Ethnic Problems In China's Neighboring Countries On China's National Security

In the international community,with the internal and external factors,one country's ethnic problems are easily spread to the outside and affect other countries' national security and then become a part of their security.There are mainly four types of ethnic problems in China's neighboring countries that have a real impact on China.The types of problems are domestic ethnic conflicts,trans-border ethnic problems,immigration problems and the "Three Forces,confluence.The main types of effect can be classified as Infiltration,Springboard,Spillovers,Immigration and Harassment.China's neighboring countries can be divided into four parts,Central Asia,South Asia,Southeast Asia,Northeast Asia and Mongolia and Russia,and key factors of the ethnic problems are different and each has its special impact on China's national security.So it is necessary to concentrate on the key factors of each region so as to make targeted policies.Specifically,Central Asia is the hot spot region of the world.It has the most complicated ethnic and religious issues,while the "Three Forces" is the most serious threat.China should differentiate the "Three Forces" from ethnic and religion issues.It can be waged only by mobilizing and relying on the masses,especially the grassroot organizations,while making great efforts to train ethnic minorities cadres.Moreover,we should strengthen actively cooperation with neighboring countries in each field,including information,border defence,drug controlling and Internet security.The ethnic issues in South Asia are related to the great powers such as India,China and America,so China should pursue efforts to contact and cooperate with the“Springboard Countries",and provide aid to people who are friendly to China in order to counter hostile forces.As a big and responsible country,China should play a constructive role in Southeast Asia,and prevent"Spillovers" preliminary through effective diplomacy.Meanwhile,the strengthening of International communication,people-to-people and cultural exchanges,and NGOs can win people's trust and reduce exclusion.In Northeast Frontier,China should actively engage in promoting border construction management and further strengthening prevention and control system on manpower,technology and wealth.
