On The Reform And Improvement Of Community Correction System In China

Community correction is a correction and prison relative to penalty execution,is to put the eligible criminals in the community,and use various social resources to correct their criminal awareness and vice,prompting them to return to society smoothly.As a new method of punishment execution,community correction is going to the historical stage,becoming an important model of the current international criminal punishment.As an important part of the penalty system in our country,criminal education reform of community correction system can't be matched by other ways.After years of trial reforms,each rules and regulations of our country's community correction has been improved,and the penal system of Chinese characteristics has been basically formed.However,we still have a lot of problems in the development of our country's community correction,and it has to be perfected.This paper focuses on the community correction system in China.In the community correction,on the basis of the research background and research significance,first of all,comparative analysis is used to study the theory of community correction.Secondly,the article elaborates the development of community correction in our country,and comprehensively combing the initial pilot stage,the comprehensive trial stage and the implementation of the law.Again,the methods of interview and telephone survey is taken to point out existing problems of community correction in China,and in-depth analysis of reasons,digging out the root to impede the progress of our country's community correction system.Finally,aiming at the problems existing in our community correction system,the corresponding improvement measures are put forward,so as to provide some references for the community correction system to take root and enrich our penal system in China.
