Organizational commitment plays an important role in predicting the Dimission Rate.And how to improve that of young civil servants has become a major issue of human resource management.Based on 456 young civil servants in China,this paper tries to analyze the impact factors of the civil servants' organizational commitment from the new perspective of public service motivation.Our results reveal two things:first,the three-dimensional model of organizational commitment(Affective commitment,Continuous commitment and Normative commitment)in the Chinese context is confirmed;second,the public service motivation has significantly positive impact on organizational commitment in general.Moreover,the four dimensions of public service motivation(Attraction to Public Policy-making,Commitment to the Public Interest/Civic Duty,Democratic governance and Self-Sacrifice)show different impact on organizational commitment.Based on these dimensions,this study offers some suggests about election,training,examination and promotion of young civil servants from the perspective of public service motivation to achieve the perfect combination of young civil servants,from individuality to position to organization,which promotes young civil servants' organizational commitment.
