Study On The Organization Of National Development And Reform Commission

Since the formation of the National Development and Reform Commission in 2003,as one of the country's macro-control institutions,its main function is to comprehensively study the formulation of economic and social development policies,to balance the development of economy,and to guide the macroeconomic regulation and control in overall economic reform.It plays an important role in the national economy development.This paper briefly summarizes the historical evolution of the National Development and Reform Commission,introduces the status of its leading members and points out some problems.This thesis is divided into four parts.The first part mainly introduces the historical evolution and functional change of the National Development and Reform Commission since 1952.The second part has made the preliminary data analysis of the National Development and Reform Commission in leading members since 2003.This part consists of three sections.The first section mainly analyzes the status of successive chief officials of the National Development and Reform Commission;the second section focus on the deputy leadership and deputy member who have the higher positions,the third section mainly analyzes the characteristics of the higher leadership of the National Development and Reform Commission from the number of Central Committee members and the ministerial level cadres.In the third part,the author analyzes the changes of the National Development and Reform Commission's functional organization and the problems of its functional organizations from two aspects.Based on the analysis above,the fourth part puts forward relevant suggestions for improvement.The author think it is necessary to improve and perfect the relevant laws and regulations,transform government functions,and streamline administration and delegate power to the lower levels to play a better role in macroeconomic regulation and control.
