The Present Situation,Problems And Improvement Of Criminal Reform

With the development of economy and society,especially since 18 th CPC National Congress,comprehensively deepen the reform of the judicial system and advancing the rule of law in prisons made China's prison system changed.Our country's prison acts as the organ of national penalty,its task is to punish and reform the criminals,convert most criminals into law-abiding citizens.But at the present stage,the following problems still exist in criminal reform in China: 1,the thinking mode of the prison police is not compatible with the transformation of the criminal reform concept.2,the function of the prison is blocked,the function of the prison is dislocated,and the operating mechanism inside the prison is lagging behind.3,the innovation of education and reform lags behind the development of social politics and economy.The main reasons are as follows: 1,the deviation between practice and theoretical guidance,the construction of prison police team lags behind.2,There is contradiction between the development of prison economy and the reform of criminals.3,The content of education is single,psychological treatment and social assistance did not give full play to the role of.4,The commutation and parole policy change has a certain impact on the reform of criminals.Second,classify criminals so as to scientifically recognize criminals,correct criminals and manage criminals.Based on the practice of criminal reform in S prison in Jiangsu Province,this paper sums up experience.We can propose improvement measures from the following aspects: First,we should promote the construction of the police force and take the initiative in educating and reforming criminals.Three,we should give full play to the positive impact of cultural construction on the reform of criminals.
