Study On The Social Security Of Rural Disabled People In Poverty-stricken Areas In Yunnan Province

As a disabled person in the rural areas,the status quo of their survival and development is directly related to the process of building a well-off society in an all-round way.The report of the 19 th CPC National Congress further enriched the connotation of safeguarding and improving people's livelihood,and included the two groups of “young” and “weak”.The “short board” of people's livelihood was more precisely and comprehensively added,and the social security for disabled persons was clearly proposed.As an important part of safeguarding and improving people's livelihood.Yunnan is a combination of frontier,ethnic,poverty,and mountainous areas.Due to historical,cultural,and geographical circumstances,the economic and social development is not sufficient and the imbalance is very prominent.The social security of disabled people is developing slowly,especially in poverty-stricken ethnic minority areas.The problem of rural social security for persons with disabilities is outstanding.To study the issue of social security for rural disabled people in poverty-stricken ethnic minority areas in Yunnan Province has important theoretical and practical significance for ensuring the basic living needs of vulnerable groups,improving their living standards,promoting social fairness and justice,and achieving the goal of building a well-off society in an all-round way.Ningpi County is a region where ethnic minorities live in compact communities and it is also a key county in poverty alleviation in Yunnan Province.This article uses a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods such as literature research,questionnaires,interviews,and data analysis and processing.Based on the definitions of social security,social protection for disabled people,and social security for rural disabled people,the first comprehensive investigation is based on this.The basic status of the disabled in the rural areas of Ninglang County and the status quo of the development of social security,and a statistical analysis of 284 surveys of rural disabled persons in Ninglang County,to understand the personal basic information,disability,family situation,and society Secondly,through in-depth interviews with disabled people in Ninglang County to understand the five aspects of social assistance,social insurance,social welfare,staff status,and mental status of disabled people in Ninglang County,revealing The current problems in the rural social security for thehandicapped in Ninglang County are analyzed,and the causes are analyzed.Finally,through the analysis of the survey and statistical data,the countermeasures and suggestions for strengthening the social security work for rural disabled persons in poverty-stricken ethnic minority areas in Yunnan Province are proposed.
