Neglecting And Family Policy Research On Children Left Behind By Single Parents In Rural Areas

With the rapid development of economic in our country,peasant migrant workers have caused a large number of left-behind children in rural areas.Coupled with the year-by-year rise of divorce rate in our country and the increase of other family accidents,the traditional family model has been greatly affected.The number of Single-parent family children is also on the rise.All those have caused a new group of children in distress in rural areas.It is left-behind children of single-parent families.The destruction of the family structure of left-behind children of single-parent families objectively weakened the family's self-protection and protection of children,and failed to provide children with effective protection and support in the traditional sense.Neglect of left-behind children in rural single-parent families was also more serious.Protection of children is the responsibility of the family and the responsibility of the state and society.Based on the methods of literature,questionnaire,interviews and observation,this paper uses quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis to understand the actual living conditions of rural children and the existing policy support system and social support system.From the perspective of family and the perspective of policies,we should explore the neglect of left-behind children of single-parent families in rural areas and explore feasible ways of building targeted and developing family policies and create a favorable environment for the survival and development of left-behind children of rural single-parent families.This article is divided into six parts altogether.The first part of the introduction mainly introduces the research background,purpose and significance of the research,innovations and shortcomings,and combs the previous literature,defines the related concepts.The second chapter takes single-parent family left-behind children in C Town,A County as the research object.The third chapter explores the causes of neglect of left-behind children of single-parent families in rural areas mainly due to the lack of protection policies for children in rural areas,the lack of protection of children's rights and interests,lack of energy and money for the guardians of left-behind children in single-parent families,As a result,the custody of children has been weakened;the humanities and environment in rural areas have been challenged and community support has been weakened.The fourth chapter analyzes the survival and development needs of left-behind children of single-parent families in rural areas and the existing family,community and social support systems and their existing problems.The fifth chapter puts forward suggestions to reduce the neglect of left-behind children of single-parent families in rural areas.It is necessary to integrate existing fragmentation safeguard policies and establish a developmental safeguard policy system and establish a special child protection policy under the family policy system to ensure the survival and development of children Conditions;To integrate community,school,social organization and other external support resources for the development of children to provide good environmental resources.Finally,the research is summarized.
