The Intervention Study On International Community Intergration With The Method Of Community Work

As an international county- level city, Yiwu city is a global wholesale market of commodities and attracted lots of foreign merchants. Community for foreigners is called international community. Since its limited urbanization, it is mostly the low-middle rank community with incomplete property management service and infrastructure facilities. People who lived in international community have problems with daily life, social interaction and personal identity. It is necessary for the purpose of accelerating urbanization and promoting harmonious development of international community. Involved in international community integration, community work could fill up the deficiency of policy and community management, motivating dwellers to achieve community autonomy and develop harmoniously.This study takes community work intervention method to research on community integration of international people which aims at finding effective ways of foreign integration in county-level cities. Based on regional development model, this study use the method of community work to divides the integration process into four period— exploration periods, motivation periods, consolidation periods and reflection periods. After a series of service activities, we will successively achieve foreigners' social life integration, cultural integration and psychological integration, and finally the community integration. The effectiveness will be evaluated. After the service, we found out that social life integration is foundation, culture integration is connection and psychological integration is guarantee. These three dimensions are not isolated but closely related. The mobility of foreign dwellers indicated that integration is sustained and shows periodicity, which acquires social work to meet their demands and motivate their subjective initiative. Besides, community work is a method of macroscopic intervention, in order to deepening the integration of foreign people, the working-team needs to use the method of case work and group work to serving on foreign people's life circle, social network and culture adaptation, which is the added content in further study.
