Study On Cultivating The Dedication Of The College Students

Dedication is the source power of the social development as well as the civilization progress.It not only has been cherished by variety ethnic groups in different times,but also reflects the Chinese traditional culture and the national spirit.At present,college students who are considered as the elite group and backbone force shoulder the hope of building our country as well as revitalizing Chinese nation.Cultivation situation of the dedication of college students directly relate to the development of their careers,the destiny of the country,and will determine whether they can grow up to qualified builders and successors of the Socialist cause with Chinese characteristics.Meanwhile,the 18th National Congress of Communist Party of China proposed socialist core values with 24 Chinese characters which also known as "Three Advocates" among which,Patriotism,Dedication,Integrity and Friendship as the value standard of the individual citizens,is not only the basic moral norm that has to be abided by socialist citizens,it also lays a significant theoretical foundation to research and study the cultivation of the college students' professional dedication.By analyzing the concept of dedication,this thesis demonstrates the significant value of dedication by analyzing the present situation of the dedication cultivation of college students with the method of questionnaire survey,and then offers the methods and countermeasures for the cultivation of college students' dedication.The thesis falls into three chapters:the first chapter is to analyze the dedication of college students from theoretical perspective which includes two parts respectively as below,to define the basic content and relative concept,to illustrate the main content and point out the structural element and practical connotation,therefore set forth the significant value the dedication embraced.The second chapter is to analyze the present situation of the cultivating the dedication of college students by the method of questionnaire survey from some colleges in Hainan province and then discuss the reason of the deficiency of the dedication among college students.The third chapter is to offer the specific strategy and methods which includes the following:colleges and universities should play an important role for college students' dedication cultivation,to innovate the mechanism as well as optimize the environment of the students' dedication cultivation.
