With the continuous development of productive forces, we entered the information era of rapid development. The production mode of new era puts forward new requirements for talent, which urges to change talent training pattern to meet the demands of society. So the curriculum reform is carrying out a vigorous. A new round of curriculum reform has been underway for more than ten years, during this period, we obtained many achievements and “scientific inquiry” has been given great importance. In recent years, the compulsory education physics curriculum standard and the physics textbook of junior high school were revised.After this, what about the current situation of implementation of “scientific inquiry”? In this article, I take the junior high school of Jinan as my research object for sampling survey. This article mainly from the following aspects is studied:1. The requirement for scientific inquiry of the Compulsory Education Physics Curriculum Standard of Junior High School(2011 Edition).2. The present situation of scientific inquiry in Shanghai edition compulsory education physics textbook(2013 revised edition) used by Jinan junior high school.3. Questionnaire survey is conducted for teachers and students in Jinan's junior school to know current situation of scientific inquiry. The teacher's questionnaire includes five aspect, they are teacher's basic information, the hardware facilities of school, teacher's understanding of scientific inquiry, teacher's attitude and approach of scientific inquiry in teaching material, the implementation of scientific inquiry. The student's questionnaire includes five aspects, they are student's basic information, students' attitude towards physics, students' attitude towards physics teaching, the performance of students in physics, the teacher processing in scientific inquiry.4. Analyzing course video that has received with existing framework of scientific inquiry, in order to know the current situation and existing problems.5. Try to put forward counter measures for some existing problems.The following conclusions were drawn by research:1. There are clear requirements for scientific inquiry and some advice for textbook's writing and classroom teaching in the Compulsory Education Physics Curriculum Standard of Junior High School(2011 Edition).2. Shanghai edition compulsory education physics textbook(2013 revised edition) implement the curriculum standards requirements for scientific inquiry from textbook column setup, the number and the way of inquiry activity well.3. Hardware development of the school is uneven. Some teachers' understanding of scientific inquiry is not profound. The teachers' performance in the classroom mostly consists with the concept of scientific inquiry, but also has some slightly lacking in detail; The enthusiasm of students in scientific inquiry is quite high. This provides a solid foundation to the implement of scientific inquiry.For the exiting problem in the research, the writer tries to give some suggestions in school's hardware, teaching organization and teacher training.
