Nowadays,our country's junior middle school physics curriculum standard explicitly claims that cultivating the students' scientific literacy should be treated as the key and the core of the physics course standard practicing.Since 2011,"process and method ",as a goal,has been proposed in the three dimensional goals of the new physical curriculum which means that the students should acquire the research method of physics in the process of learning physics discipline and use what they have learnt to explore and solve physical problems.Therefore,in high school physics teaching process,teachers should not only teach physics knowledge but also provide the scientific method education.Only in this way can the students obtain the foundation for their life-time development and improve their scientific ability,initiative spirit and operational capacity so as to improve the national scientific literacy of China.How to carry out scientific method education in physics teaching in high school is an urgent task for every physics teacher.At present,there are only few scientific method education researches in our country and most of them are still the exploration of the theory of scientific method education.Since there are only few researches are about the practical situation,problems and solution of the implementation of scientific method education in rural middle school physics teaching after the basic education reform,a systematic investigation about the implementation situation of the scientific method in the rural middle school physics teaching is of great practical significance.In this paper,a large number of domestic and foreign scientific researches on the scientific method are included and the related theory of physics teaching and scientific methods are described.Besides,the teachers and the students in part of the rural middle schools in Zhaoyang district were invited to answer some questionnaires about the scientific method education in physics teaching.According to the survey results,the practical problems existing in the scientific method education in rural areas and the solution of them is explored.This paper may provide some assistance tomiddle school physics teachers for a better implementation of the scientific method education.
