Physics course of compulsory education is a basic course of natural science which pays attention to experiment and advocates scientific inquiry.Taking experiment as the main carrier,scientific inquiry is not only an important content of junior high school physics curriculum,but also the main form of junior high school physics teaching.It is committed to cultivating students' learning interest,exploring ability,innovative consciousness,scientific attitude and scientific spirit.The purpose of this study is to understand the current situation and problems of the implementation of compulsory exploratory experiments for junior high school physics students,so as to obtain relevant findings and enlightenment.Based on the existing relevant research,this study carried out a survey and research on the current situation of the implementation of exploratory experiments for junior middle school physics students.The research started from the aspects of inquiry knowledge,active participation,experimental process,independent inquiry,feedback and innovation,etc.,to compile a questionnaire about the current situation of the implementation of exploratory experiments that junior middle school physics students must do,and carried out the survey.The questionnaire's consistency Clonbach Alpha coefficient was 0.806,and the KMO value of structural validity was 0.866,indicating that the reliability and validity of the survey were good,which could more accurately reflect the implementation status and existing problems of the necessary exploratory experiment for junior middle school physics students.The results show that in the implementation of students' must-do exploratory experiments,students have big problems in the questions of inquiry,the design of experimental schemes,the collection of experimental data,the demonstration of experimental results,cooperation and communication,etc.The main reasons are as follows: the rate of school physics experiment is very low,students lack of strong guidance in exploratory experiments,and teachers need to improve the professional knowledge base of experimental teaching.In view of the current situation of the implementation of compulsory exploratory experiments for junior high school physics students and the reasons for the existing problems,this study puts forward the following Suggestions: improve the utilization rate of the laboratory and provide an open experimental exploration platform for students;Strengthen the effective guidance of inquiry-based experiments,improve teachers' understanding of inquiry-based experiments,effectively implement inquiry-based teaching,and improve teachers' professional quality;To strengthen students' in-depth exploration of experiments and improve students' understanding of inquiry-based experiments,students should be fully prepared before experimental inquiry to cultivate students' methods of scientific inquiry and improve students' scientific literacy.Through the case study,this paper applies the problem-solving strategies to practice,and finds that it has certain positive effects on inquiry-based experimental teaching,and can provide some reference for physics teachers.
