Comparisons And Surveys On The Happiness Concept Of Urban And Rural Undergraduates In Transition

Happiness has been a hot topic for scholars in recent years.Happiness concept is individual's attitudes and prospectives on what happiness is,why people pursue happiness and how to attain happiness and so on,which influences personal behavior.Undergraduates are the backbone of the society,their happiness concept not only concerns their prospects,but also affects social developments.There exist great differences between urban and rural areas in our country in transition.In view of the differences among urban and rural undergraduates,it is very necessary for us to know their understandings of happiness and different opinions of happiness concept,analyze the reasons why these differences exist and guide them setting up a correct concept of happiness.The paper is divided into the following parts with respect to the survey on happiness concept of urban and rural undergraduates in transition.Introduction generalizes relevant surveys on happiness concept here and abroad in recent years,finding out that although happiness concept is an important part of happiness,studies from all sides neglect to investigate it,even fewer surveys are made from a sociological point of view.Start with the central idea — happiness,through illustrating the connotation and elements of happiness,then raise the concept of happiness and happiness itself,finally make a comparison of happiness concept between urban and rural undergraduates against a social background in transition.The first chapter is based on interview analysis and aided by questionnaire survey,which mainly analyze urban and rural undergraduates' understanding of happiness,evaluation of their own happiness,views on the relationship between money and happiness,and degree of concerns on personal and social happiness.The second chapter mainly makes a comparison of happiness concept among urban and rural undergraduates,find out the differences of happiness concept that they have,and analyze the reasons why they hold different views on the concept of happiness.The third chapter mainly explores urban and rural undergraduates' construction of happiness concept,including interpret their happiness concept theoretically and guide them establishing a correct concept of happiness to enhance their happiness.
