A Research On Chinese University Men's Basketball Teams Competition Ability Based On RSR Analysis

This study makes an RSR analysis of the competition ability of Chinese university men's basketball teams based on the statistical standards of men's basketball games of the 28th Universidad by applying the methods of literature analysis, video observation, correlation analysis, independent sample T test, single sample T test, deviation, mathematical statistics and logic analysis. It aims to analyze the competition ability of Chinese university men's basketball team, explore the gap between Chinese men's basketball team and the opponent basketball teams, the top 8 men's basketball teams and the basketball teams of the same competition ability all around the world, and provide some scientific theoretical foundation and practical guidance for Chinese university men's basketball team. The major findings of the study are as follows:1. In terms of the offensive ability, the RSR value of the offensive ability of Chinese university men's basketball team is 0.3020, which shows that Chinese university men's basketball team belongs to teams of D-offense level and takes the 20* place in the list of offensive ability. In terms of the defensive ability, the RSR value of the defensive ability of Chinese university men's basketball team is 0.5043, which shows that Chinese university men's basketball team belongs to teams of C-defense level and takes the 13th place in the list of defensive ability. In a word, Chinese university men's basketball team is a typical weakly-offensive and strongly-defensive team.2. In terms of the comprehensive abilities of offense and defense, the RSR value of the comprehensive offensive and defensive abilities of Chinese university men's basketball team is 0.3261, which shows that Chinese university men's basketball team belongs to teams of D-offense-defense level and takes the 15th place in the list of comprehensive ability.3. Compared with the opponent basketball teams, Chinese university men's basketball team falls behind. In terms of offense, Chinese university men's basketball team is far behind in ten aspects except in free throw, and there are highly marked differences between them in field goal attempt and offensive rebound (P<0.01). In terms of defense, Chinese university men's basketball team is far behind in four aspects except in foul, and there is a marked difference between them in points lost in offense (P?0.05).4. Compared with the basketball teams of the same offensive and defensive abilities, in terms of offense Chinese university men's basketball team falls behind in free throw and offensive rebound (P?0.05), but it is a little better in two-point shot and three-point shot. Moreover it has an absolute advantage in painted area score (P<0.05). In terms of defense, Chinese university men's basketball team has an advantage in all aspects except in defensive rebound.5. Compared with the top eight university men's basketball teams, Chinese men's basketball team falls behind in fifteen aspects in terms of offense. There are marked differences between them in two-point field goal attempt, field goal percentage and scoring by using the opponents' turnovers (P?0.05), and there are highly marked differences between them in scoring, three-point field goal attempt, field goal made, free throw percentage, offensive rebound, assist, turnover, being offended, second offense, fast break attempt (P<0.01).In terms of defense, Chinese men's basketball team is far behind in three aspects except in foul and steal. There are highly marked differences between them in lost points per game and defensive rebound (P<0.01).
