As a new teaching mode, the flipped classroom is based on the teaching video and it reverses the in-class and after-class learning activities. The essence of it is to reverse the order of the learning contents transfer and knowledge internalization. So it achieves the integration of online learning and traditional class. Compared to the traditional classroom, the flipped classroom is benefit to the cultivation of students’ subjectivity, the inspiration of students’ learning interests and the formation of innovation consciousness, so that it can improve the students’ scientific quality. From emergence to flourish, the flipped classroom is popular in overseas especially in the United States. Many schools and education institutions adopt this mode in teaching and achieved remarkable success. After the great success of the flipped classroom in teaching experiments, it quickly became a research focus in the United States. It also attracted much attention of scholars and teachers in China. Some schools also began to explore the teaching model and expected the flipped classroom to be a turning point of teaching reform. The flipped classroom teaching model has taken effects after the implementation in the eastern developed regions and a few developed cities. As for central and western regions, exploring this mode is imperative.Based on the meta-cognitive theory, auto didacticism theory and constructivism theory, we did the following research in current work. First of all, referred, analyzed and studied the related content of the flipped classroom. The author stated the concept, meaning and the teaching model on the basis of teasing out background and development of flipped classroom. Secondly, wrote a teaching design and make the micro video according to the connotation of teaching mode and requirement of implementation. Then according to the mode of flipped classroom, practiced with specific cases in senior chemistry teaching, and described the implementation process in detail. At last through the comparison of examination results before and after practice and the analysis of questionnaire, then the author summarized the teaching effects of the flipped classroom. And the author analyzed the difficulties in the implementation. Aim to provide a direction for chemistry teaching in middle schools.It turned out that the flipped classroom teaching mode can improve students’ interests, learning attitudes, classroom performance and grades. With the help of micro video, students can adjust the learning process according to their own comprehension skill and acceptance ability. They can also watch it repeatedly. The micro video could make knowledge accepted more solid and let students have a more thorough understanding of the questions. To truly achieve the flipped classroom, every aspect is indispensable. Such as the improvement of the network teaching environment, the development of teaching micro video, the improvement of teachers’ teaching skills. With our joint efforts, the flipped classroom will take significant effects in our country.
