English is an important subject during high school education stage,accounting for a large proportion in the college entrance examination.Obviously, grammar as an essential part of language plays an important role in English learning and teaching. Although the status of grammar in high school teaching is very important, grammar teaching has always been a big problem for teachers and students.The guided-learning plan as a new kind of teaching mode fully embodies the student's main body status, which encourages the students to find out problems themselves through independent learning, and solve problems through cooperative learning. The guided-learning plan applied to grammar teaching is a kind of new pattern and the author tries to explore a mode of grammar teaching through the guided-learning plan.This mode takes the guided-learning plan as the carrier and changes the learning style of students.This method reflects the main body of students and the teacher's leading role as well as changes students' passive learning into active leaning. In this experiment, the author applied the guided learning plan in high school grammar teaching, hoping that we can solve the present problems in high school grammar teaching effectively in order to improve students' grammar achievement.In order to verify the effect of this mode, the author carried out the experiment in two parallel classes in Chayouzhongqi NO.1 high school. One was chosen to be the experimental class and adopted the grammar teaching method in the mode of the guided-learning plan. The other was established to be the control class that adopted traditional method to carry out grammar teaching. The experiment results showed that the grammar achievement of students from the experimental class improved more significantly than the control class. In the future, the author will keep concentrating on the guided-learning plan mode on grammar and continue to focus on the influence of this teaching mode on the students and teachers as well as the emergence of new problems and strategies in the teaching process. The author will go on with the present research on this method and make this mode play a more important role in grammar teaching.
