The polarization between students' grade and the pressure, completing the required enrollment rate to high schools and universities, has been a heavy task to most primary schools and middle schools, they extensively carry out the management model called“grasp both ends, drive the middle”, teachers in these schools focus on improving the grade of average-achieving students to have an improving grades in total, for average-achieving students is the majority in a class. Therefore, how to change underachievers to average, and average to honored students is the main problem the scholars and teachers concern about.Based on a large number of references, the author regarded Professor Gardiner'Multiple Intelligence as the guidance, and took the students from Grade one of Nanchang NO.16 high school as the research object.Through launching an questionnaire, the author discovered that the Chemical average-achieving students' current study status, few of them had the special advantage in Verbal-linguistic Intelligence and Logical-mathematical Intelligence, but a majority of them were dominant in the other six kinds of intelligence. Interviewing with head-teacher,chemistry teachers, students and their parents, the author acquainted with the situation of students' family background, the way and strategy of the junior high school chemistry learning, and learning motivation, etc.. Analyzed the internal and external causes which led to the phenomenon of a large proportion of chemical average-achieving students. The author proposed the transformation measures of reshaping their confidence in learning chemistry, developing teaching by Question-based teaching approach, combining class teaching system and Group cooperation, organizing the students to do experiment, designing a relative multidimensional evaluation method,etc.. In order to further verified the effectiveness of the measures, the author chose four representative students(two boys and two girls), combined their psychological with thinking characteristics and respective strengths and weaknesses, divided them into two heterogeneous groups and contrasted the before and after the chemical score and its superiority intelligence and inferiority intelligence changes.Based on Multiple Intelligence Theory, it is possible to differentiate superiority intelligence and inferiority intelligence from senior chemical average-achieving students by survey research method case study method under practice. It is possible to find ways of transforming average students to honored students by analyzing factors that influenced the learning of chemistry and analyzing reasons behind the accumulation of average students. This contributes to a narrowed scope of average-achieved students and to achieving the goal of multiplying the number of honored students in Chemistry.
