Antananarivo Confucius Institute Promotion 2009 To 2013 Graduated Options Research

Confucius Institute at the University of Antananarivo in Madagascar is the most important base for Chinese teaching, until now there are five graduated promotions. This article is based on the analysis of the five graduated options from Antananarivo Confucius Institute.160 copies of questionnaires sent, and 135 recuperates. The questionnaire present 57.55% of graduated student go toward to find work after college graduation, this work is concern Chinese professional. After graduation, only 0.74% continues with another major at the University of Antananarivo, and 2.96% build their own businesses, which are not related with Chinese language. And only 57 of student graduated from Confucius Institute go to China to continue their studies or another major. Then, analyzing various reason of after graduated options, especially for those who have their own businesses or who have to do another work not related with Chinese language, and do more detailed analysis. From 57 of student graduated from Confucius Institute,25 are already worked now and 32 are studying in China. The author also analyzed the relationship between motivation and the graduate's option. Finally, make some recommendations to Malagasy learners and Malagasy students in China to study in order to improve their motivation and exceed hard job search after being graduate.
