Vocational skills training is the important way that can help workers get a job,complete professional conversion and develop themselves.For the disabled whose body and mind have some defects, vocational skills training plays a key role when helping them access to social life and realize self-worth.This study based on the past relevant vocational skills training for the disabled and the analysis of the relevant literature.Though disabled people's work, schools, factories, community and training institutions, the study comprehensively analyzes the present situation of Chongqing's vocational skills training for the disabled and sums up the advantages and disadvantages. At the same time, aiming at the problems existing in the research,author puts forward some suggestions to develop the vocational skills training for the disabled.The first part of this paper mainly expounds the background, purpose,significance and methods of the research.As the emphasis part, the background includs “eternal existence”of the disabled groups, “international focusing under the vision” of the rights of persons with disabilities, “a long history” of social security undertakings for disabled persons and many vocational skills trainings for the disabled.The research aims at investigating and analyzing current problems of Chongqing's vocational skills training for the disabled and giving related advice and rendering the development of Chongqing's vocational skills training for the disabled.The second part of this paper is the literature review and definition of relevant concepts.Literature review mainly includes the research on the object of the vocational skills training for the disabled, the faculty of vocational skills training for the disabled persons, the courses of vocational skills training, the education mode for the disabled vocational skills training, the running way of vocational skills training for the disabled, the problems and countermeasures of vocational skills training for the disabled, the legislation of foreign vocational skills training for the disabled. The definition of related concepts includes the disabled, the disabled adult, vocational skills training, vocational skills training for the disabled.The third part of this paper is mainly related to the support theory of vocational skills training for the disabled.The fourth part of this paper are the results and the analysis process. It mainly includes the handicapped's understanding of vocational skills training policy and institutions for the disabled, the way that the disabled access to vocational skills training information, the situation of investigation and analysis of the disable participating in the vocational skills training,the survey on the target of vocational skills training for the disabled,the study on teachers of vocational skills training for the disabled,the research and analysis on the disabled vocational skills training content,the survey on the time of vocational skills training for the disabled,the research on the disabled's investigation into the evaluation of vocational skills training,and the study on the factors what hinder people with disabilities to participate in vocational skills training.The fifth part of this paper is putting forward some countermeasures and suggestions to solve the problems existing in the vocational skills training for the disabled.
