The Research On Sustainable Development Of Chinese Basketball Open (CBO) In Jiangxi Province

After nearly eight years of development, the Chinese Basketball Open Jiangxi Division has shown a certain influence and scale. It has increased the most people's enthusiasm of the masses basketball, and it has improved the population and the level of masses basketball technology. But the CBO division of Jiangxi has more or less problems in the development process. The study uses the methods of documents,expect interviews, questionnaires surveys, mathematical statistics, logical analysis and other research methods to do a research for Chinese Basketball Open(CBO) division of Jiangxi province.Then this study draws the following main conclusions:(1) The CBO has become one of the most influential public welfare sports in our country after nearly 10 years of development. The CBO division of Jiangxi has a far-reaching influence on the Jiangxi's masses sports. It promotes a national fitness campaign for Jiangxi publicity and the construction of national basketball culture, and makes a beneficial supplement for making the basketball sports social, commercial and constructing a harmonious society.(2) There is good and living environment in the CBO division of Jiangxi. The management organization is mainly composed of Basketball Association of Jiangxi province and the Chinese Organizing Committee of Jiangxi province; the CBO field is not in a large range, and the game time usually occurs in the evening, with the funds mainly relying on the government and corporate sponsorship of the competition and competition fees. The clubs in participation have their own form of training and the management pattern, with the sources of funds mainly from sponsorship and self-financing, and recruitment of players mainly relies on recommendations from others and themselves. Athletes are in a great majority of the young. Their cultural level ranks higher, and their participation motive are in great varieties. The coaches of the CBO division of Jiangxi are of higher cultural level, but most coaches haven't instructed high level competitions. Their motivations are mostly out of the hobby to basketball and desire to win the honor for their own enterprises, companies or clubs.The ability of the referees in the CBO division of Jiangxi is relatively good. Thepublicity of the CBO division of Jiangxi events relies mainly on the network, the local television report and local newspapers, but the report and propaganda doesn't result in an optimistic effect.(3) During the developing process of the CBO division of Jiangxi, it has shown many problems: incomplete management systems, inadequate money input, lack of cultivation to players?coaches and referees, fewer strong support from government,and not having not formed an efficient event marketing system and so on. If these can't be solved ineffectively, it will be difficult to maintain a sustainable development.(4) Through the analysis of this research and combined with the features of amateur basketball, this article puts forward solutions for the sustainable development ideas of the CBO division of Jiangxi : perfecting the management system; increasing the economy input; strengthening the cultivation of talents, establishing efficient CBO event marketing system and so on.
