A Survey And Research On PE Teaching Staff In The Nongovernmental Colleges Of Guanagzhou Zengcheng Area

With the development of higher education,nongovernmental colleges have become one significant part.But their quality varies widely due to the conditions of school operation,school scale,and educational efficiency,so it is a great must to strengthen management.Great importance has been continuously attached to PE teachers,who are indispensable in ensuring physical education.To help the education departments at different levels learn PE teachers and offer valuable references for the school sports building,this paper analyzes the current situation of PE teaching staff at private colleges in Zengcheng area by using comparison,literature survey,questionnaire,mathematical statistics and interviews.First,staff arrangement should be perfectly made on the basis of standards.All the colleges in Zengcheng have to bring in large numbers of PE teachers vigorously,especially those who are in their middle age or master holders,appropriately increase the number of teachers with high job title,and lay emphasis on the diversity of sport events as well.Second,treatment should be improved to decrease the loss of PE teachers.Presently,wages in the private colleges of Zengcheng area is relatively low,so it is necessary to increase the teachers' salary under the national policies and local finance standards to stabilize the PE teachers or reduce the number of those who are inclined to the part-time job takers because of their meager income.In this case,they will devote themselves to the teaching and research whole-heartedly.Third,their enthusiasm should be enhanced by standardizing the wage scale.The current workload,its coefficient in recording the working hours,and overtime pay between the PE teachers and the ones who teach other majors are totally different,which should be the same.The leaders must raise awareness to increase the budget in providing opportunities for PE teachers to further their study,building sports venue,and sports equipments.Fourth,more support should be given by making policies.Little page charges subsidy is often granted to the PE teachers at private colleges of Zengcheng who have their articles published because they have to do it to get promotion in their professional titles.All the schools of the same kind must formulate pleasant policies to encourage the PE teachers to do scientific research,subsidize the page charges,and finance the research projects,perfect the training system for PE teachers,and relieve their work stress.Fifth,extra curriculum training and guiding mechanism should be reinforced.Owing to the poor sports equipment which is inadequate to support the various sports training,more money must be spend on sports facilities and training teams to take an active part in the competitions off the campus,in getting the students interested in training after class and arousing the teachers' interest,who will carry out the reasonable and effective sports activities...
