Compulsory education curriculum standards promulgated by the state in 2011 stressed the need to change the way of learning, to promote the study of mathematics should be hands-on experiments, independent exploration and cooperation and exchange. Students in mathematics learning should have enough time and space to experience observation, experiment, guess, verify, reasoning, calculation and other activities. These thoughts in the textbook set up some related columns, except in the teaching process of mathematics knowledge can give students starting from the problem, let the students to explore outside, also set up a "experiment and inquiry" such column, taught version of the junior high school mathematics textbook 6 copies, for the implementation of this idea, with a total of 8 "experiment and inquiry" columns. These columns refreshing. The establishment of these columns is to change the way students learn, so that students can work together to explore the exchange. According to my observation, I teach counties in middle school do not fully take advantage of the "experiment and inquiry" column, both the teachers and the students are ignored in this part of the content. Based on this phenomenon, in this study, the questionnaire survey method, interview method and literature research method of a variety of research methods of Right Banner secondary school mathematics "experiment and inquiry" status of implementation of the program conducted a comprehensive survey, understanding "the experiment and investigation" section of the teaching in the problems and difficulties existing in the process of implementation, combined with the actual situation, analysis the reason and put forward their own proposals.This paper consists of four parts:The first part: introduction, the background, purpose, significance, domestic and foreign research status and research methods.The second part: the content analysis, characteristics, function, development and implementation of "experiment and inquiry" column in the teaching of junior high school mathematics textbooks.The third part: investigation and analysis of the current situation of "experiment and inquiry" column teaching in junior high school mathematics textbooks. Of Right Banner secondary school mathematics teachers and some students were investigated with questionnaire survey method and interview method, by the investigation result analysis the problems and difficulties.The fourth part: combined with the actual situation, it gives advice on how to set up "experiment and inquiry" for teachers, students and textbooks.
