In order to follow the pace of the development of modern education, the Ministry of Education implements chemistry curriculum reform to middle school. The reform requires the transformation of students' learning style, and advocates the diversified learning style which is based on scientific inquiry.The inquiry experiment has been paid more and more attention in chemistry teaching. A variety of research activities based on experiment can stimulate students' interest in learning chemistry, and promote the transformation of learning style. Also they enable students to experience the process of scientific inquiry, and to study the methods and strengthen the consciousness of scientific inquiry. This process can effectively cultivate students' practical ability and innovative spirit while mastering the knowledge and experimental skills.I analyzed the requirements of inquiry experiment in the“junior middle school chemistry curriculum standard(Revised Draft)”and the setting of inquiry experiment in compulsory education textbook Chemistry of nine grade published by science press. And understood an important position in the teaching experiment under the background of new curriculum. Then, I summarized the characteristics of the inquiry experiment in the nine grade chemical textbook. Based on the above analysis and constructivism instructional design model, by openness, flexibility, diversity and interaction as principle. I adopted “classroom worksheets”, “The second prepared lesson papers” and constructivism instructional design model combined to design inquiry experiment. The instructional design steps as follows, determine the teaching objective, analyze the characteristic of the learners, analyze the characteristic of the learning content, integrated design(include: design “Classroom worksheets”, design inquiry learningresources, design inquiry teaching situation, design inquiry teaching content,design inquiry teaching strategies, design assessment tool), provide and take back “Classroom worksheets”, prepare course for the second time and conduct formative assessment after class. According to the instructional design method, I designed two exploratory experimental teaching cases,namely, “conservation of mass” and “ the properties of carbon dioxide”to practice and reflection in Charisu Junior Middle School which is in the town of Charisu, Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.Research shows that, “Classroom worksheets” could cultivated students' ability of autonomous learning after class, saved a part of the class time,solved the problem of class tensions. “The second prepared lesson papers”could be aimed at Students' cognition and practical problems, realized the personalized teaching. “Classroom worksheets”, “The second prepared lesson papers” and constructivism instructional design model combined made constructivism instructional design model more perfect, more conducive to the creative spirit and practical ability.
