Rule by law is our national general plan. In order to implement the strategy of ruling the country by law in all respects, we need to improve all citizens' the awareness and concept of laws. Under new curriculum standard,as an important part of education for all-round development, legal education can build up common sense of laws, help students internalize constitutions and authority of law as well as cultivate students the behavior to obey the law voluntarily. Chemistry are closely linked to laws,especially in relation to Environmental protection law,Mineral resources protection law and so on.This text tries to discuss the necessity and practiced of infiltrating legal education in high school chemistry classes,by doing researches on the relevant laws in high school chemistry teaching, and using an entry point of legal knowledge involved in the textbooks of high school chemistry.First and foremost, on the basis of discussion about backgrounds of research, current situation and purpose, questionnaires are used to evaluate the mastery condition of legal knowledge of high school students,integration of legal education and subject teaching, the attitudes students hold to the legal education and practice of students' legal behaviors. All these indicate that students in high school are lack of legal awareness.Therefore, it is essential to infiltrate legal education in high school chemistry teaching.Secondly, on the basis of Overclock high school chemistry compulsory teaching materials, knowledge hidden behind the chemistry 1 and chemistry2 are analyzed. As the research shows, in these two textbooks,laws such as Water pollution prevention law of the People's Republic of China, Mineral resources law of the People's Republic of China, People's Republic of China on the prevention and control of air pollution are mainly involved.The relevance of relevant laws and chemistry knowledge will be showed in a tabular format.Last but not least, combining with the requirement of new standard, 9concrete teaching cases such as REDOX reaction, The elements of chlorine concentration in the water of the sea and the simplest organic methane and so on,which involve in legal knowledge and legal awareness, will be designed and practiced in teaching. Through the analysis of questionnaires about the changes of legal education of Experimental classes and that in comparative classes before and after the infiltration legal education, it shows that legal education in high school chemistry teaching can help students study relevant common sense of laws and improve their legal concepts and awareness to some degree.As an important part of quality-oriented education, legal education can play an essential role in popularizing legal knowledge, improving students' law cultivated manners and strengthening their legal awareness and sense of responsibilities.
