Investigation And Study Of Subjectively Well-Being Of Elderly People In Nanning City

Content: The article figures five dimension based on the theory about happiness to measure the Subjective Well-Being.They are Material life dimension ? Physical and mental health dimension ? Negative emotion dimension?Interpersonal relationship dimension?Flow experience dimension.We can finally conclude the overall situation of SWB of Nanning city with all of these dimensions through the way of Survey method.Objective: Investigate the SWB of elderly people of Nanning city can help us to know the overall situation of SWB of Nanning city,thus we can propose a appropriate suggestion and solution to improve the SWB of elderly people.Methods: Through the way of literature review to draw the correlation theory;conclude the statistically significant result by the index based the survey method.Results: Nanning elderly people has a higher level of happiness,socio-demographic factors such as sex?occupation?education?marriage and income has significant difference on the level of happiness.Flow experience has positive correlation with the SWB.Conclusions: First,The self-made questionnaire has good reliability and validity.They are five dimension to evaluate the SWB,Material life dimension ? Physical and mental health dimension ? Negative emotion dimension ? Interpersonal relationship ? Flow experience dimension.The material life dimension include consideration of income ? traffic ? living facilities and social security;Physical and mental health dimension includeconsideration of health ? mental and self-evaluation;flow experience dimension include consideration of happy experience when eldly people doing their favorite leisure activities;interpersonal relationship dimension take consideration of children development,filial piety of children and relationship with people around;negative emotion dimension include evaluation of regret?agony.Second,the SWB of elderly people of Nanning city is relatively high level,which we can draw that most of the elderly people in Nanning city would live a happy life.Third,the socio-demographic factors such as sex?occupation?education?marriage and income has significant difference on the level of happiness.The elderly women are supposed to be a high level of SWB than elderly men.Surviving spouse is proved to be more happier than those widowed.The old man who has university degree are stay a high level of happy than other education.Subjective well-being of the elderly income in 3000-4000 class are more happier than other income class.The elderly people who worked in government agency and freelancers are more happier than other occupation.Fourth,the function model of socio-demographic factors can help to reveal the relationship between SWB and influence factor more intuitive.
