Under the current education system of our country, the stage of high school is very important to students' growth and developments. The study of this stage plays an important role in the healthy growth and the improvement of the quality of civilians. Currently, the phenomenon of "learning difficulty" in high school is very prominent. Some students suffering from learning difficulties drop out of school and evenly are on the way to crime. Therefore, the research on this subject has educational and social significance. In this thesis, we study the “learning difficulty” problem of the Ideological and Political discipline. Based on extensive investigations and interviews, we analyzed the main reasons for it, and proposed some measures. This paper mainly includes four parts as follows.This thesis consists of four parts.An introduction to this subject is given in the first part. We mainly discusses the significance of this topic, the progresses and research methods and objects in this part. The object of this work is high school students. The questionnaire and interview methods are applied to study the student and teacher's opinions on the learning of Ideological and Political course.The second part is about the definition of learning-difficulty students of the Ideological and Political course. Based on the study of the methods in academic circle, we propose a criterion to classify the students suffering learning difficulties.In the third part, we analyze the common reasons for learning difficulties based on the investigation and interviews. In summary, the bored content, monotonous teaching styles and lack of humor, and lack of awareness on the importance of it are the three more important aspects comparing with school management, teaching materials, family and social atmosphere.The fourth part is contributed to different measures to solve learning difficulty. This work propose six measures, such as improving students' learning interests, enriching teach styles, adding discussion on social hots, and encouraging students to take part in teaching process, and developing the overall qualities of teachers, to solve the learning difficulties. We hope that proposed measures can play a certain role in the tackling of difficult learning problems.
